The MUCH anticipated Fall TV line up starts tonight and I am SO EXCITED! I have nine shows currently in my must see list, and this doesn’t even count what ever weird science fiction stuff my husband has coming up. Needless to say, our DVR is on overload! I have shows everywhere overlapping each other and our DVR that is from our cable company has very limited functionality.
Here is what I’m looking forward to:
I admit it, I’m a total Gleek. The thing that is sad is that I was a band/musical theater person in high school so this show just brings back lots of memories. Plus, I have to tune in to see what Jane Lynch’s character is doing because she is so damn funny.
OMGoodness. The drama. I love this show but I really wish they would STOP with the sick and dying baby/children story lines. It’s killing me! But who doesn’t want Sam and Addison to hook up? What a yummy couple that could be.
I Love Bones. It’s is one of my very favorites and I’m always surprised that it doesn’t seem to get as much accolades as other shows. But it’s smart and fun and I always get a anthropology lesson. Besides, David Boreanaz is one of my “freebies” so I gotta watch it to drool over him.
I didn’t watch DWTS for the first few seasons but it’s recently became my favorite. This year I can’t wait to see how it goes! I am totally rooting for Jennifer Grey and I am actually really nervous to see how the train wreck named David Hasselhoff does. I am embarrassed for him. Good TV.
CHUCK! Who doesn’t love a regular tech geek nerd who turns into a super spy? This show is so much fun to watch and you can’t help but cheer for Chuck and Sarah and hope they go on to make super nerdy techy spy babies.
Modern Family is so freaking funny. Last season I missed a lot of episodes because it was on at the same time as two other shows and so I couldn’t record it. DVR’s suck. I am so excited that it seems I’ll be able to watch this one more this year.
Too much good TV stuff!
I’ve decided that now I need a TiVo. Bob will be so happy to hear this (not). But TiVo has a ton more recording space than my cable box so it can better keep up with my shows. It will also suggest other shows to watch based on my favorites. I can even search specific actors to be put in touch with new shows. Neat! Plus I can control the recordings from my phone so when someone is talking about a great show that I can’t miss, I can just plug it in right then instead of trying to remember it later.
For two more days you can Enter to Win a TiVo Slide which is a special TiVo remote that has a full QWERTY keyboard. Don’t forget to “Like” TiVo on their Facebook Fan Page.
What shows are you looking forward to? Do you have TiVo? Tell me how much I need one!
