My fabulous friend, Heather from Home to Heather had the fun idea of starting a wine series on her blog.  She asked if anyone would join her in a multi-blog series about wine and of course I said “YES!”  And it wouldn’t be any fun getting drunk expanding my wine palette horizons (do wine palette’s have horizons?) without my very best friend, Cheryl from Beautiful Side of Hectic.

So the three of us will be telling our readers what kinds of wines we are trying and liking (or not).

Fun, right?

I think anything that involves drinking sounds fun, and this will all be for research for my blog, after all.

Heather got to pick the wine for this week and she is reviewing a 2009 New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from New Harbor.  I’ve never been a big fan of white’s but Heather seemed to have liked this bottle that her husband picked up for her.  If you are looking for a nice white dinner wine, then you might want to check it out.

Cheryl will be featuring the wine next Saturday and I get my turn on the 29th.  Since I’m really a Two Buck Chuck or box of Gallo kinda of gal, I would love some suggestions from you as to what I should try first.
