My boys are certifiably DISGUSTING. Most kids are. Jokes about farts and poop abound along with boogers and spit bubbles. It’s a regular freak show around here. Just recently, Nathan (one of my 6yo twins) swallowed a flat, glass aquarium rock and we waited (and watched) for days to make sure it “passed.”
It did (and it now resides under his pillow).
If you are going to have kids, it’s a given that life will be gross. Well, instead of shushing the gross booger references, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center is embracing the gross and are showcasing Grossology: The Impolite Science of the Human Body.
Sometimes it’s stinky; sometimes it’s crusty; and sometimes it’s slimy. Explore why your body produces mushy, oozy, crusty, scaly and stinky gunk at “GROSSOLOGY: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body,” our most popular exhibit ever in its 2007 visit!
I am really excited to be visiting the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center on July 7, 2012 for the Gross Olympics.
The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center and the Global Association of Gross and Messy Education (GAG-ME) invites children 6-14 to participate in the GrossOlympics, to be held on July 7, 2012 in celebration of the newest hands-on science exhibition, “Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body.

I will be at the Gross Olympics on July 7th and am trying to talk at least one of the boys into participating (I think Nathan would be the best belcher!). I get to give a way TWO passes to one of my local San Diego readers. The passes are good on Saturday July 7, 2012 ONLY so be sure you can attend before you enter.
Entering is EASY….just leave me a comment telling me what event your kid could win!
