My kids have the best Grandparents EVER!  My dad had enough of watching my oldest son drooling over the neighbors fence and always asking to head next door to swim so he went out and bought the kids their very own POOL!  Pretty fabulous, no?

Even when the water was a chilly 70 degrees (for a week) the boys swam.  It was our very own polar bear plunge!  They ask to go in the pool every.single.day.  I can’t even express how completely happy they are about having their own pool to play in whenever they want.

Thank you, Dad and Mom!!

The only downfall to having our very own pool is the complaints of, “MOM MY EAR HURTS!”  If you’ve ever had water trapped in your ear you know that it stinks.  I remember Anthony experiencing this last year, too and I turned to Similasan to help him get relief.

Similasan Ear Relief Drops

Ear Relief ear drops help clear water trapped in the ear and the homeopathic ingredients help stimulate the body’s natural ability to soothe the ear, decrease the ear’s sensitivity to external factors such as water, cold, and drafts, reduce the clogged sensation in the ear, and return the ear to a water-free and comfortable condition.

Early Signs of Swimmers Ear:

  • Your ears feel blocked or itch.
  • The ear canal becomes red, swollen, perhaps even swelling shut.
  • A milky fluid drains from your ear, or there is a crust around the opening of the ear canal.
  • The ear becomes red, very painful, swollen and tender to touch, especially the cartilage in front of the ear canal

At the first complaint of an earache I put the drops in and I don’t worry that I’m putting unpronounceable chemicals into their little bodies either.  It works great and they usually have relief within a day or two.   If you don’t get relief with the drops it is important to contact your doctor in case something more serious is happening.

Did you know- Similasan Ear Relief is the #1 Pharmacist Recommended ear drop formula for the 10th year in a row!

I am really happy with Similasan and will keep it on hand all summer long!
