First up:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BABY BROTHER!!  Isn’t he adorable?  With that being said, I cheated some at dinner…with it being my brother’s birthday and all.  I guess it’s a good thing that it is only day two because I have nineteen more days to make up for it.

Breakfast

Three scrambled eggs, two slices of bacon, mushrooms and lots of spinach.  Pretty standard around here.  Someone asked me today if I ever got sick of eggs, and you know what?  I really don’t.  Perhaps it is because I’m always changing up the added vegetables so they never get boring.  And, really, who gets tired of bacon?  As long as I have bacon in my eggs I am golden!

Lunch

I took leftover buffalo chicken with me to work.  It was just as delicious cold as it was warm the night before.  I also took my leftover steamed broccoli.

Dinner

I did great all day but bombed at dinner.  It could have been worse, I could have had cake and ice cream but I did not (go me).  My mom makes these chicken rolled up in crescent rolls and smothered in cheese things that are really good.  I only had a small serving (one roll up) but it certainly wasn’t sugar detox friendly.  Then I had a pile of steamed veggies and fresh cucumbers with red-wine vinegar.

Drinks

I had plain black tea this morning and then water the rest of the day.

Here is to the next nineteen days being birthday party free since I have a slight stomach ache tonight.  I think all the cheese on the roll-ups didn’t agree with me.  Funny how when you stop eating certain things and then you have it, it doesn’t sit well.
