On Saturday, August 3rd we got the great pleasure of going up to Santa Monica to participate in the Old Navy “Multiply your Style” fashion show and party.  It was a blast!

Everyone, and by everyone I mean roughly 500 kids, got a $20 certificate to shop the latest Old Navy fashions.  Having three boys, I try to bargain shop where I can and was very careful to pick the boys out cute (yet practical) outfits that only came to about $15.00 each.  I had to go back and try harder to spend more money in order to use my certificate!  My boys are hard on their clothes and really could care less what I pull out of the closet for them to put on.  So it only took about 15 minutes for each of them to have a fun $5.00 graphic tee picked out and matching cargo shorts.

I think Old Navy had every available staff onsite.  They were extremely helpful and organized considering there were 500 kids storming their store.

oldnavyfashionThe Old Navy Graphic Tee’s here were $5.00 each.  I love how soft they are!  The Cargo Shorts were $10.00.

Gabe is all about skulls.  All skulls all day long and he is happy.  Nate is going through an “awesome” phase and pretty much every shirt he owns says something about him being awesome.  Anthony managed to find a cool Darth Vader Tee to pay homage to his geeky dad.

Once we picked out our outfits, ate some tater-tots and drank orange smoothies, it was time for the fashion show.

photo 3Yes, these are my kids “Rockin’ the Runway” for Old Navy!  They made a point for it to be a ton of fun for the kids and the “runway” was really just a big obstacle course, complete with slides, jumpies and water misters.   At the end of the runway, the kids were encouraged to “strut their stuff” and show off their new duds by none other than the stars of Nickelodeon’s show Sam & Cat, Jeannette McCurdy and Ariana Grande!

Of course, the highlight of the day for my boys was getting to meet and greet Sam & Cat!

Sam&CatOld Navy has always been one of my go-to stores for back-to-school shopping.  They make it easy, their clothes are cute (and soft!) and always a reasonable price.  Some of my kids’ favorite clothes from years past have been from Old Navy.

Where do you do your back-to-school shopping?  What stores do you find the best deals?

Disclosure:  I was invited to attend the Kids Rockin’ Runway event and received $20 clothing vouchers for each child…but so did 497 other kids!  I was not compensated for this post in any other way.  All opinions are my very own.
