No, I Don’t Want to be a Trump Supporters Friend

There is an internet meme floating around that says something to the effect, “unfriending people for their political views undermines the democratic process.” I know that the makers of the meme meant well. They are trying to point out that everyone’s opinions and realities are unique and that is what makes the world an amazing place. Unfortunately, it’s BS. I personally do not fit into any single political party. I side with Democrats on their social agendas, I like the Republicans military and patriotic love of country, I am wholeheartedly Green when it comes to environmental issues, and I...

The Free RV?

Three Weeks Ago: Mom calls:  “I have a free RV for you!” Me:  “uuuuhhhhmmm *speachless*” Mom:  “My friend at work has a really nice RV that has been sitting for six years and he was going to get rid of it and decided he wants to give it to you!” YAY!  **Happy Dancing!** I was RIDICULOUSLY excited!  We had two days to decide but in my head, it seemed like a total no-brainer.  A fabulously maintained FREE RV.  Would you say “no?”  I didn’t think so…. Two Days Later: We met the generous benefactor at the local RV storage facility....

2015 In a Nutshell

Hi.  It’s me, Rhea.  Remember me?  I only posted one time in all of 2015 so I thought I would just get you up to speed on my world. December 12 2014 we closed escrow and moved into our very first home! January 1, 2015 it caught on fire. It sucked.  Insurance deemed it a total loss. Two weeks in a hotel, six months in a temporary house, lots of headaches later and we moved back in on June 1, 2015.  Most women I know have these amazing Pinterest boards full of home improvement and design.  I do, too!...

  This weekend only Marvel Universe Live is visiting San Diego and the show is AWESOME! My family was invited to attend the show on opening night and we had so much fun!  I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but it was action packed and had a lot of fun stunt work that really impressed my boys. Pardon the grainy, low-light cell phone pictures…. From the press release: Marvel Universe LIVE! will captivate audiences with an authentic and original story that brings more than 25 Marvel icons together on one awesome quest. Grand Celebrations at Medieval Times {Review}

We recently celebrated my oldest son’s birthday.  I always give the kids a choice to either have a big whoop-di-do party OR they can go somewhere.  Anthony always chooses to GO.  He loves adventure and experiencing new things.  This year he wanted to visit Medieval Times! Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is a fabulously good time!    What is Medieval Times? Surrender to an age of bravery and honor and witness epic battles of steel and steed during our ALL-NEW SHOW. From ringside seats, discover a feast of the eyes and appetite with more action, more fun & more excitement than ever before. As you thrill to a rousing live jousting tournament, marvel at awe-inspiring horsemanship and falconry, Medieval Times serves a four-course meal fit for royalty. Medieval Times has nine castles throughout the United States.  We visited the Buena Park castle which is just down the street from Knotts Berry Farm.  You enter the castle and are assigned a Knight to cheer for.  We were put in the Red and Yellow Knight’s Court (BTW: The red and yellow knight was a babe….just sayin’).  The boys were excited to meet and get pictures with the King. You have time to peruse the gift shops, get up close to the gorgeous horses and have a drink before they let you enter the arena.  Everyone is so nice and I could...
